For this project we were tasked with designing a label and four pack
for a fictional Ginger Ale, Root Beer or Beer Product. The label
and pack had to be directly inspired by design that predates
1950 that we were chosen at random.
I was randomly given the era of World War II. I was very inspired by the numerous propaganda posters and ads created during this period. I also pulled a lot of inspiration from the WWII inventions, especially the invention and technology of the Higgins Boat. I wanted to base my brand and beer off of this invention and emphasize the patriotism of America, and what’s more American than beer?
